After leading Momento Foundation, I kept hearing from families that while facing loss at home, they were getting bullied at work. Managers would put them on a Performance Improvement Plan as if that would somehow fix their spouse being on hospice, which is why their productivity dropped. Coworkers would ignore them unsure of what to say. The stories I heard were awful, and I knew we could do better.

I partnered with a pyschotherapist and c-level executive coach to create a trauma-informed grief training to help leaders and teams work through grief together with empathy.
