I had originally wanted this blog to be my blog for the projects I was working on… I made a few posts with my wedding photography over the past year, but I went ahead and deleted them. Why you ask? I have launched a new company and brand dedicated to weddings and portraits called Shutter Sweet Photography. I also have another company dedicated to corporate photography and graphic design work that I’ve branded as Skylight Creative Group. So far, both are keeping very busy and I am excited to see how they grow.
So now you might be asking, “well then what the heck is this website for?” Well, I think I’m finally getting back to the main reason I created website, which is to share my work. However, this website has nothing to do with my photography or graphic design business. I want to share my personal projects on this site. Projects that I am working on – mainly photography – to convey a message. To tell a story. To make a statement. To challenge myself and possibly you, the viewer. To get people to think and possibly act. I hope to share with you my vision and heart through photography.
I am really looking forward to the new year and my first project that is in the works. I will be photographing the project starting the first of the year and I am not sure when I will be releasing the first post. More details coming soon!
